In February we had the pleasure of playing a gig with the lovely ‘Die Milch’ from Japan. One of their violinists Will is studying violin in Austria. His bandmates Coco and Robin had planned to come over for a visit, so with the help of Dani and the local lolita community Gothic Lolita Austria we managed to play a concert together!

The location was the Australian pub Down Under in the 6th district of Vienna. Their so called “snakepit cellar” is frequently used for events and that’s also where we played!
Velvetree opened the evening and we even premiered our newest song ‘Old Souls’. It has some really dreamy, abandoned-house-in-the-mist vibes!

Then it was showtime for Die Milch! The three of them put on an engaging performance and even managed to elegantly overcome the night’s biggest surprise: a sudden power-outage!! The violins continued to entertain everyone while the problem was being fixed.

Of course, we’d like to thank Gothic Lolita Austria and Dani for their help and organising the event. Our thanks also go to the ever-so-amazing Markus Wetzlmayr from WET-photo for some brilliant pictures. Go check out his work, he is one talented guy!
